Soglio, in the Rilate Valley, is one of the thirteen municipalities that make up the hilly area of the province of Asti. This beautiful historic house, formerly the cellar of an early nineteenth-century house, is accessed through a wrought-iron door. Once inside, you are greeted by a beautiful portico overlooking a splendid panorama and a garden that opens onto a private courtyard. The entrance is through a large window that gives access to the kitchen with a central island. Going up a few steps with a pleasant game of levels you find a large open space with vaulted ceilings with exposed brick and a central handle that divides the large room into: dining area, reading room and relaxation area heated by a pellet fireplace. The house has two bedrooms plus a loft area accessed by a spiral staircase. This could be used as a further bedroom or study. A service bathroom remains between the sleeping area and the living room, while the practical laundry room disappears through a folding door in an archway of the open space room. The final spacious bathroom with large shower and Jacuzzi is located off the kitchen. This type of house would be suitable as a first home, but also as a base for exploring the beautiful Monferrato Astigiano area.
