Country house to be restored to its original beauty

We are in Vho, a small village of ancient origins that belongs to the municipality of Tortona. It is said that the first historical document mentioning Vho dates back to the 9th century, while texts from the 16th century describe it as a settlement that developed around a castle with a drawbridge and a moat. Evidence and reminders of the most important places in the life and history of the village are the entrance gate, some traces of the castle, two churches and the names of some streets, such as Via del Fosso and Via di Castel Zenone. Vho is a true pearl of Lower Piedmont and has been included in the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy since 2021, thanks to its splendid panoramic position on the hills of Tortona. From the village you can enjoy a spectacular view of the hills, vineyards and fields, which take on different colours and scents according to the seasons of the year, making the landscape a never-ending discovery. It is in this splendid setting that we find this historic farmhouse, which dates back to the end of the 19th century and still preserves elements of the past, together with later extensions, and which was inhabited until a few years ago. Situated on the edge of the village, surrounded by a plot of approximately 4,300 square metres, the house enjoys views as far as the eye can see of the surrounding hills, but is in need of complete renovation to bring it up to today's standards of comfort. The 200 square metre apartment has two rooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette on the ground floor, and two large rooms on the first floor.
